It was a fair draw in the big match between Spain and Germany, which finished 1-1.

The goals of Morata and Fullkrug decide the match, both entered the field during the game.

Of note is a crossbar by Dani Olmo and a goal disallowed by Rudiger.

The verdicts of this group E of the World Cup, staged in Qatar, have been postponed to the last day.

The Iberians came close to making it 1-0 in the 7th minute, when Olmo hit the crossbar right in with a great shot from the edge of the box providentially touched by Neuer.

Luis Enrique's men keep the ball in hand but it is the Germans who show themselves in the 24th minute, when Gnabry tries with his left foot from the edge with the ball coming out not far to Simon's right.

In the 33rd minute Ferran Torres devours the 1-0 but the action is in any case thwarted by Olmo's offside.

In the 40th minute, Flick's men took the lead with Rudiger but the referee canceled for offside after the immediate signal from the Var.

It's the last thrill of a first half that ends goalless.

The first chance of recovery comes in the 11th minute and it's in favor of the Germans.

Busquets was pressed to the edge of his area, lost possession and the ball went right-footed by Kimmich, who saw the possible 0-1 saved by a diving Simon.

Then, the Red Furies find the advantage in the 17th minute.

Jordi Alba goes up on the left and puts a low shot on the near post on which the newcomer Morata pounces, who anticipates Sule sharply and with a delightful right winger he puts Neuer in for the 1-0.

In the 28th minute, the 4-time world champions spoil the possible 1-1 when Musiala, served vertically by Sané, shoots at Simon instead of serving the newcomer Fullkrug for an easy support into an empty net.

The Germans didn't give up and in the 38th minute they equalized.

Sané serves Musiala who does not control well but almost involuntarily serves Fullkrug, who throws a great right foot under the crossbar that strikes Simon.

In full recovery there is still room for a last thrill from Sané, which however widens the dribbling on Simon in a desperate exit too much and the chance for the success of the Germans vanishes.

The result will not change anymore.

The ranking now sees Spain at the top at 4, followed by Japan and Costa Rica at 3. Germany closes at 1, which in case of success on the last day against Costa Rica, however, can still qualify for the round of 16.
