He announced this during a meeting with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Mishustin noted an increase in trade between the two countries in January-October of this year by more than 10%.

The trade turnover amounted to more than $22 billion, which is a record, the Russian prime minister added.

“If this trend continues until the end of the year, I am sure that we will reach new record levels in terms of the volume of interaction in our mutual trade,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov said that Moscow’s external trade turnover with the Caspian countries grew by almost 30% in 2021 compared to 2020, exceeding $8 billion.
