For several months, tension has been growing in the West Bank.

After a wave of anti-Israeli attacks that killed 19 people in Israel last spring, the Jewish state launched a major military operation in the region.

More than 2,000 people were arrested and 130 Palestinians were killed during these raids and clashes, the heaviest toll since the second intifada.

Operations are concentrated in the northern West Bank, where more and more young people are joining new armed groups.

They are popular, very followed on social networks and refuse any political affiliation.

The city of Nablus is the embodiment of this.

Gwendoline Debono went to meet these young Palestinians who are reconnecting with the armed struggle.
