For his part, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri, said that the "Desert Light" operation is an affirmation of the UAE's efforts in combating money laundering crimes and fighting organized criminal gangs through coordination and continuous international cooperation in this field, pointing to the implementation of the security operation accurately. High and high level coordination.
He added that the joint work team was able to dismantle the gang's network in six countries, and seize large quantities of drugs in their possession, which they are preparing to smuggle from Latin America to Europe, stressing the strength of cooperation and coordination relations with police officers and the European Police Agency "Europol".
