A rare work accident took place on Monday on a dairy farm in Sens-de-Bretagne, about thirty minutes north of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine).
A man in his 40s was reportedly charged by a cow on his way to the farm.
According to the firefighters, the victim was "knocked down by the animal".
Alerted, the emergency services could not do anything to save him.
The man died at the scene despite the intervention of firefighters.
The accident happened around 3 p.m. on Monday.
An investigation was opened by the gendarmerie to determine the circumstances of this accident at work.
According to France Bleu, the victim was a dairy driver.
