A 78-year-old woman was the victim of a serial rapist while being treated at the Max-Fourestier hospital in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) on July 27.
With her daughter, she decided to file a complaint against the hospital at the end of September for "endangering the lives of others".
Two other victims
According to the septuagenarian who confided in the
Parisian
, the man already knew the place and would have done some scouting.
He would have used an emergency exit that could be opened from the outside.
The failure had already been reported by nurses but the door was never really repaired, according to the girl.
After the rape, the man had managed to flee despite the intervention of a nurse.
He then reoffended 30 minutes later by raping a 68-year-old pensioner also in the establishment.
The man was finally arrested on September 9.
This 27-year-old homeless man would also be the author of the rape of a 12-year-old girl, committed two days after those of the hospital which also houses a place of reception for the homeless.
Contacted, the management of the establishment indicated that it had strongly reinforced its security system and repaired all its doors since these two incidents.
