President Yoon Seok-yeol said today (29th), "If North Korea conducts a new nuclear test of any kind, it will face an unprecedented joint response."

In an interview with Reuters reported today, President Yoon made this statement regarding North Korea's recent provocations raising concerns about the possibility of a seventh nuclear test.

This is interpreted as a remark suggesting that if the security crisis surrounding the Korean Peninsula escalates due to North Korea's nuclear test, we will take a strong response based on our relationship with our allies, such as the United States.

Regarding North Korea's ongoing military demonstrations, such as test launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), President Yoon said, "China can and must exercise influence to stop North Korea from developing weapons."
