They live in the three-room apartment in Stenkulla together with Anna's mother, father and mother-in-law.

Her husband remains in Zaporizhzhya as men his age are not allowed to leave Ukraine - they are in contact daily and hope for peace to one day be reunited in their homeland.

In total, there have been around 200 elves - or gnomes as they are called in Ukraine - big and small, since the arrival earlier this year.

It all started with the shirt that Anna wore while fleeing the war, becoming part of the first gnome.

Through the contacts they have made since they came to Sweden, material for the little gnomes has flowed in from private individuals.

The goal is now to sell the gnomes at Christmas markets in and around Nyköping.
