At 10:50 local time on November 26 (12:50 Beijing time), the inauguration ceremony of the President of Kazakhstan was held at the Independence Palace in the capital Astana. Representatives from all walks of life and foreign media attended the inauguration ceremony.

Tokayev swore an oath to the constitution at the ceremony, officially becoming Kazakhstan's president.

  On November 20, Kazakhstan held early presidential elections, and Tokayev was elected as the new president with 81.31% of the votes.

  According to reports, on November 28, Tokayev will pay an official visit to Russia and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. This is also his first overseas visit after taking office. The two sides will sign a series of cooperation agreements.

From the 29th to the 30th, Tokayev will pay an official visit to France and meet with French President Macron.

The two sides will discuss strategic cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment and humanities.
