The Director of Dibba Al-Fujairah Municipality, Engineer Hassan Al-Yamahi, called on those who have permits to camp on Al-Faqeet Beach in Dibba Al-Fujairah not to rent it or allow its use to others, pointing to the influx of visitors to the beach, as it is an exceptional destination, especially during this period of the year.

He stressed organizing the camping process to preserve public health, environmental safety, and the privacy of families.

He stated that the conditions for camping permits include that the camps not be used for any commercial activities, to ensure that they are prepared in a manner commensurate with the family atmosphere, noting that camping permits have witnessed a significant increase since last October, as the number reached 312 permits.

Al-Yamahi confirmed the issuance of a decision banning camping on the sea and distributing billboards along the beach so that everyone could enjoy the winter weather, pointing out that the municipality has equipped the Al-Faqeet area with the necessary needs as part of its efforts to provide services and facilities to customers.

He added that the municipality has allocated sites for owners of mobile vehicles (caravans) to sell foodstuffs and provide services to camp goers in an organized manner, in addition to the continuous follow-up by its field inspectors of the sites of temporary winter camps and caravans, to ensure that the approved rules and requirements are applied.
