He also recalled that in the course of the SVO, it became known about the implementation of the military biological programs of the Pentagon in Ukraine in violation of Articles 1 and 4 of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Biological and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction (BTWC).
Thus, the analysis of documents that were found in Ukrainian biological laboratories showed that in the "immediate proximity to the Russian borders" the development of biological weapons components was carried out.
Kirillov noted that this information is confirmed by work contracts, approved registration cards, as well as reporting documentation from Pentagon contractors Black & Veatch and Metabiota.
The ministry also stated that the Russian side proposes to take measures to unconditionally comply with the requirements of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Biological and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction (BTWC).
