Inge Hammarström and Börje Salming have been closely followed throughout their lives.

It was together with Inge Hammarström that Börje Salming got on the plane to Toronto almost 50 years ago and began the journey towards becoming legendary.

- From the very first training session with Brynäs, you could see that he had something special, says Inge Hammarström, who met Börje Salming for the first time at Börje's brother Stig's.

- Me and Stig lived in the same house and that was where Börje lived the first time when he came to Gävle.

That's where our friendship began.
