A 51-year-old Italian woman was arrested by the carabinieri of Treviglio on charges of stabbing and killing her partner, a 31-year-old man of Nigerian origin, at their home in Morengo, in the province of Bergamo.
At the moment the accusation for the woman is of voluntary homicide aggravated by futile reasons.
The events took place inside the house in via Umberto I where they lived together.
It was the same Italian woman who gave the alarm to 112. According to the reconstruction of the investigators, at the height of the argument the woman first grabbed a knife from one of the kitchen drawers and then hit the chest with a single blow from the front his mate.
