After the harsh SD criticism - the visitors are thinking about story time with drag queens

On Saturday, the much-talked-about story time with two drag queens was held at Kalmar city library.

The father Emil was one of all who brought his child to the story time.

- I find it very difficult to see how this could be inappropriate for children, he says.

During the time that the storytimes were held, a group from RFSL was present.

The organization states that it wants to be there to show its support for the event.

- It is a cold climate right now where LGBTQI people are exposed to both threats and hatred and it is important to show that we are here and that we are many more than them, says Ida Curtsdotter Karhu, who chairs RFSL Kalmar län.

The two main characters in the drag queen storytime, Lady Busty and Miss Shameless, announced after the storytime ended that they did not want to participate in any interview.
