The US Federal Communications Commission has banned the import of equipment from a number of Chinese companies

In particular, we are talking about such Chinese companies as Huawei, ZTE, Hytera Communications and some others.

In July, the US FBI said that the equipment of the Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has every opportunity to intercept and transmit confidential data related to the US military, as well as the country's nuclear arsenal, to Beijing.

In January 2019, the United States formally charged Huawei and its CFO Meng Wanzhou with allegedly attempting to steal trade secrets from T-Mobile and violating US sanctions against Iran.
