The prices of villas and condominiums in Skåne have fallen by around 10 percent since March.

But according to sales manager Per Ekvall Jangvert at Bjurfors Skåne, today's announcement was expected and is nevertheless cautiously positive.

- We believe that the market will start.

We see that there has been a decline in the number of deals during the autumn by around 25 percent.

Every fourth buyer has actively chosen not to make a housing deal.

We believe that more business will be done in the spring, but I don't think we will see any drastic price increases, he says.

Hard to tell

But in these times it is hard to tell.

War, high prices for energy, fuel and food are some factors that increase uncertainty.

- We will probably see further interest rate increases in February, but once it settles, it will be easier to make the right decision.

A year ago, we had a sales speed in Skåne of around 16 days.

Today it takes almost 40 days.

I don't think anyone really knows where the prices are going, but I don't think we will stand here in three months and say that the prices have dropped another ten percent, says Per Ekvall Jangvert.
