The 2022 World Cup in Qatar kicks off this Sunday, and bar managers are preparing to load up on customers throughout the competition.

This is the case of a Parisian establishment where, in the absence of fan zones and broadcasts on giant screens, the manager hopes to see the supporters come in large numbers.

They rub their hands.

Without fan zones in Paris to follow the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, bar managers expect to see many supporters and football fans arrive.

As in an establishment where Europe 1 went, and which prepared for this event.

"I have bucket hats, flags, blue-white-red glasses!", exclaims Marco, who reveals, almost with stars in his eyes, his goodies in his box taken out of his reserve.

Scarves, confetti or even make-up, there is everything.

A few hours before the start of the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador, to be followed live and in full on Europe 1, the manager of this Parisian bar is ready for the party.

“We wonder what will happen”

The decorations are even hung from the ceiling.

"We put the flags in groups, distributed along the room. Those who are missing, we order them", he affirms, adding that Qatar was missing "obviously!", Ecuador and Cameroon .

Enough to be immersed in the atmosphere of a World Cup, even if this edition on the Arabian Peninsula is special.

"That one, I can't say because as it's winter, we have our ass between two chairs. We wonder what's going to happen, is it going to be good, is it going take?" asks Marco, who nevertheless wanted to recruit for the occasion.
