When the snowstorm moved in over Västra Götaland, many people wanted to change to winter tires. The queues were long at Däckbytarna's workshop in Borås and when they closed at 5 p.m., several disappointed motorists had to drive home without having their tires changed. Some of them had been waiting for hours.
During Sunday, several people queued for hours to have their tires changed.
Ulli Baliaka waited for over three hours before she was told that her tire would not have time to be changed before the workshop had to close.
- It feels very boring.
I have eight miles to drive home in this road condition, she says.
