The Dubai Future Academy launched three new digital knowledge programmes, with the aim of enhancing the employment of future foresight tools, developing future design skills, and promoting the adoption of a culture of forward thinking in developing future visions, plans and strategies, in order to achieve the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President The UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai stressed the importance of employing foresight tools to enhance readiness for the future, in a way that contributes to consolidating the position of Dubai and the UAE as the world leader in the field of designing and creating the future.

The free digital courses provide an opportunity for participants to develop their skills in many economic, digital and future sectors, and introduce them to the most important opportunities and trends in future methodologies, technologies and skills, and the most prominent ways to employ future foresight tools in enhancing the efficiency of the work of the government and private sectors alike.

The Director of the Dubai Academy for the Future, Saeed Al Gergawi, stressed that preparing community members with tools to foresee the future and the skills to develop action plans appropriate to variables in various sectors is one of the main pillars of the initiatives of the Dubai Future Foundation, saying: “This initiative represents an open invitation to everyone who has an ambition to leave his distinctive mark.” In Dubai's march to design and manufacture the future.

He added, "Through this initiative, we aim to export Dubai's forward-looking thinking to the world, by opening the door to participation in knowledge programs for all, in a way that contributes to the dissemination of future knowledge based on a comprehensive and integrated vision, keeping pace with changes and new trends, and employing the latest innovative practices."

Program participants will receive an accredited certificate from the Dubai Future Academy, upon completion of the program, in the event that they obtain an average of 90% or more in the final exams, and present an idea for a future initiative to design the future of Dubai and the UAE.
