It is the first time in 12 years that a US strategic asset has openly entered the West Sea since the George Washington aircraft carrier's West Sea exercise right after the Yeonpyeong Island shelling in November 2010.



The B-1B Lancer's unusual entry into the West Sea is interpreted as a message not only to North Korea, which launched an ICBM, but also to China.
