Split shifts can mean that you work in the morning, then you get three hours off and then come back and work until late in the evening.

- Several of us live out in the villages, so you don't have time to go home during your free time either.

If we cut down on shared luck, I think we'll all have more energy for this job, says Moa Jonsson, who is a care assistant.

Chairman critical

The decision to scrap the shared tours was taken in the senior committee by the Left Party, the Christian Democrats, the Moderates, the Center Party and the Liberals.

Both the Green Party and the chairman of the elderly council, social democrat Carin Nilsson, are critical of the decision.

- It is unfortunate that the decision was made without funding.

It will cost 155 million to remove the shared rides, money we don't have.

Instead, we want to gradually increase the basic staffing and that the staff at each unit can decide for themselves what the schedule should look like, says Carin Nilsson (S).
