A 17-year-old teenager was arrested by the police in a shop in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme) on Monday.

Around 2:25 p.m., he was caught in the act of theft by the saleswoman, reports

The young man did not attempt to steal any jacket.

According to our colleagues, the jacket in question was worth 1,500 euros.

The shopkeeper contacted the police.

The teenager was placed in police custody and was however released after his hearing, specify our colleagues.
