The weather will remain rough this Friday over a major part of France warns Météo France.

Gusts of up to 100 km / h in Corsica and 70 km / h in the Channel are expected during the day.

On the sky side, the showers will be rarer in the north of the country but the sky will remain gray.

In the regions bordering the Channel and the Atlantic, the weather will remain rough on Friday with numerous showers and a strong westerly wind, according to Météo France forecasts.

Gusts will reach 70 km / h in the morning near the English Channel and in the evening on the Aquitaine coast.

The lulls will be short and the clearings brief.

On the Basque Country the showers will follow one another, sometimes stormy.

In the Pyrenees, the rain-snow limit will be around 1300 m.

Elsewhere from the South-West to the North-East and in the Northern Alps the sky will also be very cloudy but the showers rarer.

From the Loire Valley to the Center and the Paris Basin, the clearings will be clearer and the weather generally dry.

Temperatures down slightly

On the southern Alps, the Mediterranean rim and Corsica, the sun will dominate despite passages of clouds at altitude.

The tramontana will blow at 70 km/h in the morning, 80 to 90 in the evening, and the westerly wind in Corsica will be around 100 km/h on the north of the island.

Temperatures will drop slightly.

The minimums will range from 5 to 9 degrees in general in the land, from 8 to 13 on the coasts.

The highs will vary between 9 and 14 degrees from the Northeast to the Atlantic, and from 14 to 19 degrees over the Southeast.

Here are the temperatures recorded at 4:00 p.m. followed by the minimums expected tonight.
