“At a meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors on November 17, an unprofessional drafted resolution that went beyond the agency’s mandate and contained factual errors on issues of nuclear safety, nuclear security and safeguards in Ukraine was adopted,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.

It is specified that Russia and China opposed the resolution.

Vietnam, India, Kenya, Namibia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and South Africa abstained from voting.

The representatives of Burundi and Libya did not take part in the vote.

Earlier, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) adopted a resolution in which it called on Russia to abandon "unfounded claims" to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
