The Russian Defense Ministry said that precision-guided missile strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities continue.

Details during a briefing on November 17 were announced by the official representative of the department, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.

“High-precision missile strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces in Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk region, destroyed the workshops of a defense enterprise for the production of fuel and rocket engines for the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he said.

In addition, Konashenkov added that the workshops of the Iskra research and production complex, which produced electronic components for the repair of radar stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), were destroyed in the city of Zaporozhye.

It should be noted that on the morning of November 17, an air raid alarm sounded throughout Ukraine.

Ukrainian officials have reported attacks on the country's infrastructure facilities.

In particular, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal announced explosions at gas production enterprises.

According to him, the blows are delivered on the Southern Machine-Building Plant located in Dnepropetrovsk.

The head of the administration of the Odessa region, Maxim Marchenko, said that a strike was recorded on one of the infrastructure facilities located in the region.

According to him, there is a threat of a massive missile strike across the entire territory of Ukraine.

The deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said that two infrastructure facilities were damaged in Dnepropetrovsk.

The head of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov, said that a strike was recorded on a critical infrastructure facility in the Izyum district.

The head of the Kyiv regional administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, said that air defense systems were operating in the region.

Since October, Russian troops have begun to use the tactics of massive strikes with high-precision weapons on objects of the military command and control, communications and energy systems of Ukraine.

In early November, the department stated that, thanks to Russian strikes, the management of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their logistics support had been significantly disrupted.

According to the defense department, Kyiv faced significant difficulties in transporting reserves and materiel to the combat areas by rail.

Ukraine subsequently announced serious damage to energy facilities.

As Ukrenergo reported on November 14, the most difficult situation with energy supply was observed in Kyiv, as well as in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv and Poltava regions, where planned and emergency shutdowns are in effect.

The company cited the statement of the chairman of the board of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky: "No other energy system has been subjected to such large-scale damage that the Ukrainian energy sector has suffered since October 10."

The situation on the directions of the NWO

According to the Ministry of Defense, an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack the positions of Russian troops in the direction of one of the settlements of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) was prevented in the Kupyansk direction.

As a result, up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen and two armored vehicles were destroyed.

In addition, in the Krasnolimansky direction, the Russian military thwarted the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack with the forces of five company tactical groups in the direction of a number of LPR settlements.

The enemy lost up to 100 servicemen killed and wounded, one tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, two armored vehicles and three pickup trucks.

In addition, in the South-Donetsk direction, the RF Armed Forces took full control of the road between the settlements of Pavlovka and Nikolskoye (DPR).

Also, Russian military personnel stopped three attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the forces of up to three company tactical groups from the regions of several other settlements of the DPR.

In the Lisichansk direction, as a result of high losses and the low morale of the arriving reservists, the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Belogorovka (LPR) refused to obey the command and perform combat missions, the department noted.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the militants of one of the Ukrainian Nazi formations, sent to restore order, shot five Ukrainian servicemen in front of the formation in order to intimidate the personnel of the brigade.

Aviation, missile troops and artillery hit the command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the communication center of the enemy in the Kherson region, as well as 74 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 166 districts in a day.

As a result of the counter-battery fight, two Ukrainian launchers of the Uragan MLRS were destroyed in the Kharkiv region.

Two US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar stations were destroyed on the territory of the DPR.

Air defense systems shot down six drones per day.

In addition, 15 rockets were intercepted, including 11 HIMARS munitions.

Two rockets "Hurricane" and two shells "Alder" were shot down in the air.
