The annual inspection report on the entry permits sector of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai confirmed that the number of golden residences issued during the years 2019 to 2022 reached 151,666 residences, and the workload in the entry and residence permit sector reached 15,542,384, and the workload increased. to 43%, compared to 2020-2021.

The series of innovative initiatives and services contributed to raising the customer happiness index to 96%, the partners’ happiness rate reaching 100%, the operational plan implementation rate reaching 99%, in addition to launching initiatives that contributed to reducing the use of papers by 100%.

The report revealed that the call service has started to be implemented in 60 Amer centers and a number of tourism companies in the third quarter of this year as a trial phase, by launching the system on the official website and providing service in the morning and evening periods, and front-end employees will be trained on the system and the future plan to implement it. The project is around the clock, as the number of completed transactions reached 2,868, and the second phase will be implemented during the first quarter of next year.

The report revealed that the sector achieved 99% in the operational plan, and the percentage of improvement in the main operations reached 94.60%, compared to 100% in the digital transformation of entry permits and residence permits, and 82.2% in the innovation readiness rate, while the rates of employee happiness and institutional flexibility ranged. Between 93 and 100% over the past year.

The Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Marri, reviewed the report during a visit to the customer happiness centers.

Al-Marri stressed that the results achieved are the result of the efforts of the functional and administrative cadres working in the administration and in the entry and residence permit sector, noting that these efforts led to the best pioneering results, especially the work to transform all services provided into smart services, which contributed to reducing the number of visitors to the centers. Providing service by 80%, which reflected positively on the quality of life of customers.

He added that efforts are continuing to provide the highest standards of smart digital services aimed at raising the quality of life for all customers, by achieving sustainability in innovation, development and improvement in the services provided in a way that enhances flexibility, meets requirements and exceeds the level of ambitions.

 Wage protection system

The report announced the implementation of the wage protection system project after implementing a number of steps, which included a meeting with the Central Bank, and reviewing the work of the wage system applied in the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority.

The work contract system project witnessed the collection of requirements by the administrative team, and their analysis by the technical team at a rate of 100%, before adopting and documenting procedures, concluding a memorandum of understanding with the Central Bank, and implementing requests and updating systems at a rate of 95%.
