Former US President Trump has officially declared his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election.

Regarding the theory of responsibility for the midterm election defeat, I dismissed it as fake news, but it seems that it will not be an easy challenge.

Former President Trump threw a vote again in a year and 10 months after losing the presidential election.

He professed to recapture the regime, citing the energy crisis, inflation, and war in Ukraine that erupted after the Biden administration.

Regarding the theory of responsibility for losing the midterm elections around him, 232 candidates won and only 22 lost. He dismissed it as fake news.

But after the midterm elections, the Republican vote is leaning toward Florida governor DeSantis.

In a national opinion poll, pro-Republican voters chose Disantis as the next presidential candidate, and Disantis also outperformed Trump in Texas, the Republican primary contest.

Former Vice President Pence, the second-in-command, also threw a check on Trump.

[Mike Pence/Former Vice President of the United States (Do you think former President Trump should become president again?) I think it's up to the American voters.

But I think we will have better options in the future.]

However, there are still voices within the Republican Party that it is too early to ignore Trump's influence.

And even if he loses the primary, there is also a prospect that if he declares an independent run, the risk of losing the general election for the Republican candidate will increase.

However, there is a possibility that related investigations, such as intrusion into the Capitol and taking out confidential documents, may be caught.

With conservative media such as the Wall Street Journal and Fox News also turning to Governor Disantis, attention is focusing on whether former President Trump will succeed in reversing the atmosphere based on his strong support base.
