Thursday, the Mediterranean rim will enjoy bright weather for most of the day despite a temporarily cloudy sun, according to Météo France based in Toulouse.
The southwest wind will blow moderately on the Côte d'Azur, the capes and the relief of Corsica.
But in the evening, the tramontana will strengthen and rain will cross Languedoc-Roussillon then PACA.
Unstable weather over the rest of the country
Over the rest of the country, we will observe unstable weather, cloudy to very cloudy with showers interspersed with short clearings.
Sleet will be frequent and punctually stormy from the morning on the departments bordering the Channel.
They will also multiply between the Loire Valley and the north of New Aquitaine, then in the afternoon over the entire South-West to the Pyrenees and from the Center to the North-East quarter.
They will sometimes mingle with a clap of thunder.
They will give snow from 1800 m on the Pyrenees and the Alps.
The westerly wind will still be strong in the morning from Seine-Maritime to Pas-de-Calais.
