The Russian army receives a batch of advanced missile launchers

According to the Special Design Bureau "Skoye Biro", within the framework of government defense requests, the Russian Ministry of Defense has supplied a batch of combat vehicles with multiple launch rocket systems "Tornado-G" and "Tornado-S".

According to the Russian agency "Sputnik", the state institution did not specify the number of military vehicles that were delivered to the customer, according to the Russian technology company "Rostec" today, Wednesday.

Contractual obligations for the shipment of the modern combat vehicles "Tornado G" and "Tornado S" were fulfilled in full and on time.

"Due to the large production workload at a number of sites, employees work in three shifts," Sergey Dyakin, general director of the design bureau, told the Rostec press service.

"The company is creating new jobs, raising salaries and working hard on technical re-equipment. Timely dispatch of military equipment as part of the implementation of the State Defense Order is a priority task for our company," Diakin noted.

The design bureau "Spetsalny Constructionskoye Bioru" is the only developer and manufacturer in Russia of the "Grad" and "Smerch" launchers and their modern versions "Tornado-G" and "Tornado-S".

The 122 mm "Tornado G" launcher is designed to destroy artillery batteries, mortars, air defense forces, elements behind enemy lines, units, manpower and equipment in gathering places, and the vehicle is equipped with an automatic guidance system and fire control system.

The 300 mm "Tornado S" launcher is also used to destroy targets of military groups, anti-aircraft systems, and military infrastructure.
