“1,880 new self-rescuers were purchased for the amount of 32.9 million rubles, measures were taken to localize the consequences of the accident and restore mine workings and infrastructure, bring the latter in line with current technical requirements, restore stable ventilation of mine workings (106 ventilation structures were restored), a multifunctional system the safety of the coal mine and its subsystem, ”the ministry said in a statement on its website.

It is noted that at the initiative of the prosecutor's office, four officials of the mine's management were disqualified, 33 persons were brought to administrative responsibility in the form of fines totaling more than 2 million rubles.

They are currently paid. 

On September 14, the Rostechnadzor commission completed a technical investigation into the causes of the accident at the Listvyazhnaya mine, which occurred in November 2021.

There were 285 people underground.

Most of them managed to get out, the rest were sent by mine rescuers.

After some time, they were recalled due to the threat of an explosion, but not everyone managed to get out - five employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations died.

In total, 51 people died and 106 were injured as a result of the tragedy.
