According to TASS with reference to the department, in the course of the joint work of Rosfinmonitoring, the Bank of Russia, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Tax Service, cases of tax evasion by businessmen from the catering sector were revealed.
The scheme uses fake cash registers and POS terminals of third parties.
“The measures of tax control of various restaurant chains, including large ones, were appointed.
In the course of inspections, in particular, the accounting systems of establishments are reconciled with the data of cash registers, ”the tax service said.
At the same time, the Federal Tax Service emphasized that the activities of the audited companies were not suspended.
