“The ministers discussed the possibility of increasing the volume of electricity supplies from Russia to Mongolia in the winter, as well as the need to coordinate work on repair programs for the stability of these supplies,” the ministry said.

The parties also considered the possibility of further cooperation in the electric power industry, in particular, related to the modernization of CHPP-3 in Ulaanbaatar.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Energy said that Russia is coping with Western energy sanctions.
