There is speculation from many quarters about what will be the next step in the war in Ukraine after the Russian military has left Kherson.
One possibility is that Ukraine's next counterattack will be against Zaporizhzhya.
A successful counterattack there would mean cutting off the Russian forces in the area, according to former lieutenant colonel Jörgen Elfving.
- It would also create favorable conditions for a continued attack on Crimea, he says.
