The rebellious deputy, former columnist for the C8 channel in the program "Touche pas à mon poste", had an argument with

Cyril Hanouna

about the billionaire Vincent Bolloré, owner of the channel.

Louis Boyard ended up leaving the set, insulted by the host.

The deputy announced on Monday that he was going to file a complaint against Cyril Hanouna and asked the Assembly to open a commission of inquiry.

Louis Boyard repeats it: his approach is not personal.

Here, it's not a celebrity press debate, it's a political debate.

This is not a person-to-person debate

,” he said.

La France insoumise calls for a commission of inquiry into concentration in the media and more specifically on the channels of

the Bolloré group

.

According to the rebellious deputy Sarah Legrain, the legislator must toughen the rules in force today.

We are going to ask the question to all our fellow MEPs:

'are you satisfied with the fact that in a channel owned by Bolloré, a presenter can say that he does not bite the hand that feeds him and that he therefore will not say evil of Bolloré and I forbid a deputy of the Republic to speak ill of Bolloré".

Bill to end media concentration

The case leaves skeptics in the ranks of the Renaissance presidential party.

For MP Benjamin Haddad, Louis Boyard is not the best placed to raise this issue.

“

When you go to this type of show, when you yourself have been a former columnist on this show, you also have to question the way you participate in public debate

 ,” he believes.

At the National Rally, the initiative makes people smile.

The National Assembly should not simply be an object of revenge in the hands of certain politicians.

Is it the priority of the French at the moment to take care of the self-esteem of Louis Boyard, I am not sure

, ”says MP Laurent Jacobelli, spokesperson for the party.

Chance of the calendar, a law proposal of the Insoumis to put an end to the concentration in the media must be examined from Wednesday in committee.
