IAEA to send missions to several Ukrainian nuclear power plants

It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of the organization.

“At the request of Ukraine, an agreement was reached between its government and the IAEA to send groups of experts ... to the South Ukrainian, Khmelnitsky and Rivne nuclear power plants.

Under the agreement, the IAEA will also send a third such mission of experts to Chernobyl.

Earlier, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that concern about the safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is growing every day against the backdrop of shelling and power outages.
