The Emirates Foundation for School Education has approved the timetables for exams for the end of the first semester, for grades three to twelve, in public and private schools applying the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, which will start on Friday, corresponding to the 25th of this month, in the subjects of group (A), which are preceded by the handing over of assignments And the final projects for group (B) materials from the 21st to the 24th of the same month.

The tables indicated that exams for twelfth grade students (general, advanced, elite, and applied tracks) start at 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm, except for Friday, which starts at 8:30 am and ends at 10:30 am. As for exams for students in grades five to eleven, they start at 9 am. until 11 a.m., except for Friday, which starts from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. As for all third and fourth grade exams, it starts from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

The tables specified that twelfth grade students in schools that teach the Ministry’s curriculum sit for all exams in government schools, with the exception of Islamic education subjects, social studies, and health sciences, as they are applied in their schools, under joint supervision and coordination with school branches. As for twelfth grade students, Those enrolled in schools of tolerance take all their exams in general education schools, and there are no centralized exams for the first and second grades, and formative and summative assessment procedures are applied to them in all subjects of group (A) by the teacher.

The tables set 10 general directions for the end-of-semester exams of the first semester of the current academic year. First, the exams are applied on paper for the third and fourth grades, through physical attendance at the school, and delivery electronically on the Al-Manhal system.

Second: Examinations are applied electronically on the Swift system for grades five to twelve, through the real school attendance of all students in public and private education schools that implement the Ministry's curriculum.

Third: Students of the twelfth grade, who are enrolled in schools of private education and tolerance, take all their exams in government general education schools, except for Islamic education subjects, social studies and health sciences, which are applied in their schools under joint supervision with the school branch coordinators.

Fourth: Students must bring their computers to the school during the examination period.

Fifth: The total exam period for each subject is two hours.

Sixth: The questions paragraphs are not restricted by time, and the student is allowed to return to review before submitting the exam.

Seventh: The student is allowed to leave the hall one hour after the start of the exam.

Eighth: In the chemistry exam for the advanced and general tracks and in the science exams for the applied track, all the data and information required to solve the question are available in its paragraph, and therefore there is no need to request the periodic table of the elements or the series of chemical activity or any tables, relationships or laws.

Ninth: Approving the monitoring of the formative assessment score for the materials of groups A and B at the end of the working hours on Thursday, corresponding to the 24th of this month, and the final assessment for the subjects of group B no later than the same date (24th of this month), with the exception of the first and second grades, and therefore the last day for approving the evaluation is the end Working hours on Friday, the ninth of December next.

Tenth:

According to the exam schedules for the end of the first semester of the twelfth grade, students of the general, advanced, and elite tracks will start it on the 25th of this month, with health sciences for the general and advanced, and biology for the elite, and students of all tracks (general, advanced, elite, and applied) will take the Islamic Education exam on Friday, 28 same month.

The next day, students take a social studies exam.

Students of the general, advanced, and elite tracks will take the physics exam on the fifth of December, while the students of the applied track will take the exam of applied sciences on the same day. The general, advanced and elite courses take the mathematics exam on the next day, while the students of the applied track finish their exams with applied mathematics on the same day, while the students of the general, advanced and elite tracks finish their exams the next day with the subject of chemistry / biology.

Student grade weights

The guide for the policy of evaluating student performance and applying tests for the academic year 2022-2023 specified the system for evaluating students of the third cycle (grades 9 to 12), in the subjects of group (A), which include mathematics, Arabic and English, science, Islamic education, social studies and health sciences, where they are distributed The weights of the assessments for the three semesters are 30% in the first semester (10% for the formative test, and 20% for the final exam).

In the second and third semesters, the evaluation weight is 35% for each semester (10% for the formative, and 25% for the final).

The guide indicated that the total weight of the formative test for group (A) subjects is 30%, and for the final test it is 70%.

Twelfth grade students in the ministerial curriculum schools take exams in government schools, with the exception of Islamic education subjects, social studies, and health sciences.
