It is specified that a column of people is moving along Stephen the Great Boulevard from Myahaya Vityazul Street towards the presidential administration, where a rally has been announced.
The demonstration is led by deputies of the Shor Party and the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova.
On November 4, activists of the Moldovan Party of Socialists held a protest near the building of the National Energy Regulatory Agency of Moldova due to rising prices in the country.
Shor party spokesman Dinu Turcanu, one of the organizers of the protest in Chisinau, said police had blocked more than 50,000 protesters from reaching the square.
The police say that 1.7 thousand people took part in the protest.
