Ron DeSantis – The Florida governor who became Trump's nightmare

Ron DeSantis was born in 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida.

After studying at Yale and Harvard, he began a career in the Navy.

In 2012 he got a seat in the US House of Representatives and he himself described that his biggest mission was "to stop Barack Obama".

Ten years later, DeSantis is now being talked about as a possible competitor to Donald Trump in the fight to become the party's presidential candidate.
