President Yun Seok-yeol also held bilateral talks with the leaders of the United States and Japan, respectively.

It is said that the Korea-Japan summit has just ended.

President Yun Seok-yeol greeted US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at a welcome dinner hosted by Cambodia, the ASEAN chair country, yesterday (12th).

He had a series of summits with the two leaders today.

At the first Korea-U.S. summit, the two leaders intensively discussed the IRA, a method to reduce inflation that does not subsidize Korean electric vehicles, which is a key issue between the two countries.

After assessing that the Korea-U.S. consultation channels related to the IRA are operating closely, President Yoon said that he expects further economic cooperation between the two countries.

In response to President Yoon's story that President Biden confirmed his sincere willingness to cooperate with IRAs through a personal letter in October, he replied that the IRA implementation plan should be discussed in consideration of the contribution of Korean companies to the US economy.

The leaders of South Korea and the United States also made it clear that they would respond with the overwhelming power of the alliance to further provocations such as the North Korean nuclear program.

Along with the Korea-US summit, a summit meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Kishida was also held here in Cambodia.

The Korea-Japan summit was dubbed 'the summit' in both countries.

Previously, Japan called the meeting in New York in September 'Gandam', saying that there was no pre-set agenda.

The leaders of South Korea and Japan also discussed first the agenda for security cooperation in response to North Korea's successive provocations.

It is known that the two countries agreed to continue consultations between the authorities regarding the issue of compensation for forced labor, which is the biggest issue in the two countries.
