It is noted that the Cabinet of Ministers rejected amendments to the federal law "On insurance pensions", as this would lead to additional expenditure of funds from the federal budget.

According to the financial and economic justification of the bill, the recalculation of pensions will require the allocation of an additional 538 billion rubles in 2023, the material says.

Earlier, the Moscow City Duma adopted the budget of the capital for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024-2025 in three readings at once, while maintaining a social focus.

Lawyer Vadim Tkachenko spoke about the changes in social benefits, which come into force on November 1.
