A meeting that should lead to new sanctions for Iran after the bloody repression of the demonstrations by the authorities of the Islamic country.

Brussels wants to show solidarity on Iran.

"We are following with respect and attraction the Iranians who are fighting for their human rights. We must support their fight and to do so, ministers will probably adopt a new package of sanctions against Iran," explained a senior European official according to whom the ministers they will also discuss the issue of sending Iranian weapons to Moscow.

The migrant issue understood as cooperation on migratory flows will be addressed at the request of Italy.
