The Etampes police station was notified around 2 a.m. Saturday of a caravan theft in Guillerval, and the police tried to intercept the driver on the N20 towards Paris.

The individual then tried to flee on foot, before being caught and taken into custody by the police.

, the suspect would be 17 years old, and could in this sense be prosecuted for driving without a license, theft and hit and run.
The Alliance 91 police union said there were no injuries among the police, and congratulated the officials after the arrest of the suspect.
