The students of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics called up for military service will soon be demobilized.

This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, referring to the instructions of Vladimir Putin.

“Currently, the forces of the People’s Militia are integrated into the RF Armed Forces after the entry of the DPR and LPR into Russia.

Putin instructed to demobilize students and organize a return to the place of study," Peskov said.

His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

As he noted, demobilized students will be sent home and continue their education.

On February 19, general mobilization was announced in the DPR and LPR.

Men aged 18 to 55 were called up for military service.

At the same time, categories of people for whom a delay is provided were named.

However, “criminal” cases were committed during the mobilization, Denis Pushilin, acting head of the DPR, said.

He spoke about one of these cases in his Telegram channel.

“I am very glad that we managed to return Nikita Gladkikh from the front.

Return alive and well.

Despite the fact that at the beginning of the military operation he was 18 years old, he was still in school and had every right to continue his studies.

Instead, he ended up at the location of the active military unit near Kherson, from where we took him.

At the moment, the Prosecutor General’s Office is checking the circumstances of the case,” he wrote.

The head of the republic added that the DPR authorities would provide the young man with favorable conditions for admission to the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture: “After all, the time will come when we will need the architects of a new, revived Donbass.”

At the same time, in October, Denis Pushilin announced the need for the demobilization of students, which should take place gradually and without harm to the combat capability of the units.

“I am in favor of our students returning from the front, returning to study, as is now happening in other regions of the Russian Federation, where students are not mobilized, but study,” he said.

Recall that the Donbass republics became part of Russia along with the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions following the results of referendums held from 23 to 27 September.

On September 30, the ceremony of signing agreements on the entry of four new subjects into the Russian Federation took place.

On October 5, Vladimir Putin signed a package of laws ratifying the entry of the DPR, LPR, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

In accordance with this decision, the number of subjects within the Russian Federation increased to 89.

On October 19, the head of state signed a decree on the introduction of martial law in these four regions.

At the same time, a medium level of response was introduced in the Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov Regions and Sevastopol.

At the same time, on September 21, partial mobilization was announced in Russia.

On October 20, Putin visited a military training ground in the Ryazan region, where he checked the training of those called up for service in the RF Armed Forces.

He, in particular, inspected the practical classes.

On October 28, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to the President on the completion of mobilization measures, during which 300 thousand people were recruited into the armed forces.

According to him, in the future, the recruitment of troops will continue at the expense of volunteers and contract servicemen.

On November 4, Vladimir Putin, during a flower-laying ceremony at the Minin and Pozharsky monument in Moscow, announced that 318,000 Russians, including volunteers, had entered the Russian Armed Forces as part of partial mobilization.

On November 7, the head of state noted that about 80,000 mobilized Russians were in the NMD zone, of which about 50,000 were participating in combat operations.
