China News Agency, Zhuhai, November 12 (Reporter Cai Minjie) The 14th China International Aviation and Aerospace Expo is being held in Zhuhai, Guangdong.

A batch of advanced Chinese-made UAV equipment was unveiled.

In addition to the "Wing Loong-3", "Rainbow-7", "Attack-11" and other drones that can be called the stars of the air show, there are also various small and medium-sized drones, even micro drones and cruise missiles.

Since its debut in Zhuhai in 2012, the "Wing Loong" drone has become synonymous with China's drone industry.

Today, the "Wing Loong" family has the characteristics of fast development, many family models, wide operating applications and strong task capabilities. It has fully blossomed in the military and civilian fields and has entered the world.

At this air show, a series of UAVs such as Wuzhen-8, Attack-11 and "Wing Loong", "Cloud Shadow" and "Xuange" constitute a complete unmanned aerial strike system.

Among them, the "Wing Loong"-3 UAV system has attracted attention at home and abroad due to its heavy load, long range and independent multi-mission capability.

Supported by a variety of advanced capabilities, the UAV can perform combat missions such as all-domain reconnaissance and strike, cross-domain support and coordination, confrontational environmental operations, and emergency rescue operations. It can be expanded to perform various tasks such as air near-ground support and maritime search and rescue. It can play an important role in both military and civilian fields.

The reporter saw at the booth that in order to meet the needs of long-distance voyages, the wingspan of the Wing Loong-3 UAV is very large.

Zhou Yi, chief designer of the "Wing Loong"-3 UAV, said at this air show that the "Wing Loong"-3 UAV is in the international advanced level among the existing series of large-tonnage mid-altitude and long-endurance UAV products of the same type. Level.

At present, the relevant work of the "Wing Loong"-3 is in full swing according to the equipment development process, and the product equipment capability will soon be formed. In the future, the needs of boarding and anti-submarine will be considered.

The "Wing Loong"-1E UAV system was also exhibited this time.

Tang Yong, chief designer of the Wing Loong-1E, said that the UAV system can be equipped with different loads according to the characteristics of the mission, so as to achieve the purpose of "one aircraft with multiple uses".

In the future, the aircraft can perform tasks such as continuous intelligence reconnaissance and surveillance on the ground and at sea, close air support, and precision fire strikes.

A variety of unmanned helicopters were also exhibited at this air show.

Among them, the "Xuange"-500C unmanned helicopter was developed for the plateau environment. It has the ability to fly day and night in complex environments, and can perform tasks such as target reconnaissance and material transportation in the plateau area.

Fang Yonghong, technical director of the Helicopter Institute of China Aviation Industry Corporation, said that under the general trend of unmanned equipment development, the product lineage of unmanned helicopters will develop more comprehensively, and the products will cover light, small, medium and large tonnage; the intelligence level of products will be With further development, the application mode will gradually be used across domains from a single platform to a collaborative use of multiple platforms.

Li Yongguang, general manager of AVIC UAV Company, said that unmanned helicopters have developed multiple models that are suitable for various mission scenarios, such as on plateaus and ships.

In the future, the concealment of UAVs and the autonomy of UAVs will be continuously improved, and the survivability of military UAVs in the battlefield will be improved, so that Chinese UAV technology will be at the forefront of the world.

At the same time, drones have played an important role in the fight against earthquakes, waterlogging, typhoons and other disasters, due to their advantages such as fast response speed, small space constraints, and strong rescue capabilities.

In addition, the star product WJ-700 high-altitude, high-speed and long-endurance inspection and strike integrated UAV system, and the full spectrum of the Rainbow UAV family also appeared in this air show.

Lu Cunzheng, spokesman for the Third Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, believes that China's drone development has experienced a long development time, and currently has several advantages, including a large number of employees, a large number of companies conducting research; a complete range of , to achieve differentiated development, such as stealth UAVs, high-speed surveillance, high-altitude, low-speed, as well as rotorcraft and micro-UAVs.

"Under the traction of specific needs and application scenarios, our country's response speed will be very fast. Through the combination of various technologies and models, we can quickly find new solutions and accelerate iterative updates." Lu Cunzheng said , China's manufacturing base is very good, this is the biggest advantage.
