Yemen..Demands for a military resolution to stop the escalation of the Houthi militias

Yemeni military sources said that military resolution is the quickest and closest way to establishing peace and ending the crisis in Yemen, after the Houthi terrorist militia rejected all peace efforts and initiatives proposed by the local, regional and international community.

The sources pointed out that the continuation of the side consultations and the talk about returning to the armistice, made the militias continue to target Yemeni economic interests, threaten international navigation, and increase the abuse of Yemeni civilians.

She added, "The armistice that began last April made the militias rearrange their ranks, and gave them the opportunity to finance their combat operations through oil revenues from the port of Hodeidah, which prompted them to reject the armistice last October."

The sources pointed out that Yemen and the region are facing the growing culture of Houthi terrorism, and the international community should stand firmly in front of this, in order to spare the region, energy routes and international trade, the dangers posed by the Houthi militias.

This comes, while the Houthi militia continued its field escalation, and launched a terrorist attack on villages and residential areas in the north of Lahj governorate, causing deaths and injuries among civilians.

Medical and field sources in Lahj stated that the Houthi militia bombed the villages of the Qadash area in the Al-Musaimir district, northwest of Lahj, with guided missiles, leaving 6 dead and 8 civilians injured, including women and children.

The sources stated that the militias continue to commit their crimes against civilians, in Taiz and Ma'rib currently in Lahj, without deterrence.

The southern and joint forces on the fronts north of Lahj repelled several Houthi attacks during the past hours, targeting their positions extending from Karsh to Habeel Hanash, passing through the Hamala area, which witnessed direct confrontations between the two sides, in which the militias incurred heavy losses.

In Taiz, the army and resistance forces thwarted an attempt to infiltrate Houthi elements towards their positions in the Wadi Khadran front, west of the city, the second in less than 24 hours, according to a field source, confirming that the militias sustained deaths and injuries.

Meanwhile, the militias launched a campaign of kidnappings among civilians returning from the legitimate areas to their villages in Mawiyah district, east of Taiz, and took them to their detention centers in the city of Al-Saleh in Al-Hawban, east of the city.

In Al-Jawf, the militias continued to abuse the tribes of the governorate for the fifth day in a row, as they displaced the tribes of Al Muhammad from their areas and looted their lands after bombing them with missiles, marches and heavy artillery during the past two days.

In Marib, the Yemeni army forces pushed forces and weapons towards the areas of contact with the Houthis on the southern fronts of the governorate, in response to the Houthi movements in those areas during the past weeks, in anticipation of any Houthi attack.

According to field sources, the forces were stationed at the frontlines of the Al-Bayda border, Harib, Ma’rib, Ain and Bayhan in Shabwah governorate, coinciding with the Houthi combat escalation with marches and missiles towards Shabwa and Marib.

In Sanaa, tribal clashes with medium weapons erupted today, Saturday, between tribesmen and Houthi militias, in the Arhab district, north of the capital, Sanaa, concentrated in the areas of Bani Ali and Al-Harja, against the background of the militias attempting to loot their lands.
