“On November 13, scheduled shutdowns will operate from 00:00 to 24:00 in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava regions,” the company said in a Telegram message.

Shutdowns are also planned in the part of Donbass controlled by Kyiv.

Earlier, the head of the board of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, said that power engineers and local authorities should prepare for the most pessimistic scenarios in the energy sector of Ukraine, including a blackout.

Strana.ua, citing a document from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), reported that the country's banking system was preparing for a complete power outage.
