According to the death certificate issued by the Ukrainian side, the serviceman died from a wound on his left leg as a result of acute blood loss.

On the body of the deceased, a broken phalanx of the finger of the right hand, a broken left hand, “an obvious trace of a gunshot wound” on the left limb near the lower leg were found.

In addition, there are “obvious marks from contact with some hot objects” on the shoulder blades, the ombudswoman said.

Serdyukova stressed that Lugansk would hand over to the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross all the materials and information about the torture of military personnel by the Ukrainian military.
