More than 140 migrants trying to cross the English Channel rescued in France

This is reported by TASS with reference to the prefecture of the English Channel and the North Sea.

It is noted that migrants from three boats were rescued.

All illegal immigrants were taken to the port of Calais and handed over to the border police.

Earlier, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna threatened Italy with consequences if Rome did not change its position on receiving ships with migrants.
