President Yoon Seok-yeol made his first trip to Southeast Asia since his inauguration today (11th).

President Yoon departed for Phnom Penh, Cambodia through Seongnam Seoul Airport this morning with Kim Geon-hee.

At the airport transfer, the People's Strength Emergency Response Committee Chairman Jin-seok Jeong, floor leader Ho-young Joo, Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Sang-min, and Vice Foreign Minister Cho Hyeon-dong came out.

President Yoon greeted Minister Lee Sang-min by tapping him on the shoulder twice as he approached and paid his respects.

The 'exclusion of exclusive planes for MBC reporters' workshop continued today.

Kim Ki-hyeon, a member of the People's Power, who is considered to be the next party leader, defended the boarding exclusion measure and argued that "as long as President Park, his reporters, and executives continue to maintain, MBC should be disbanded."

Rep. Kim, who appeared on SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show', said, "Is that MBC? Wouldn't it be broadcast with the words in subtitles, and maybe even an apology."

The Democratic Party of Korea has been criticizing the boarding exclusion measure every day.

Lee Jae-myung, head of the Democratic Party of Korea, said, "Immediately withdraw the exclusion of certain media coverage, which has become childish, boring, and a laughing stock around the world.

In addition to Chung Cheong-rae, the top member of the Democratic Party of Korea (DPRK) said, "President Yoon caused a number of diplomatic disasters, and this time he had a major accident before even leaving the country."

Meanwhile, President Yoon Seok-yeol arrives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the first country he visited this afternoon, and immediately attends the ASEAN-Korea Summit.

Before going on a tour, President Yoon said on social media, "We will do our best to meet the public's expectations and produce practical results that can support our national interest and economic growth."

He continued, "There were many concerns, but I was able to attend because it was an important diplomatic event on which our national interest and future were at stake," he said.
