Ignite tires and close a street

The confrontations erupted after Palestinians set fire to rubber tires and closed the road leading to the Israeli Beit El checkpoint north of Ramallah, in protest against the continued Israeli violations against Palestinians.

For several months, the Israeli army has continued to carry out operations in the northern West Bank, concentrated in the cities of Nablus and Jenin, under the pretext of pursuing wanted persons.

Usually, confrontations and exchanges of fire break out during every operation carried out by the Israeli army.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club reported last month that the occupation forces had arrested about 5,300 Palestinians since the beginning of this year.
